Chapter 366 - 222: This Is the Master’s Order
Chapter 366 - 222: This Is the Master’s Order
"This thing called the Star Core, is it the energy source of Fallen Star City?"
After the contract was completed, Sunan turned his gaze to the crystal-clear sphere.
"That’s right." Lize nodded, "It’s a unique energy supply device invented and created by the Starfall Association itself."
Sunan curiously asked, "How is it different from the Elemental Pool?"
"It has all the functions of an Elemental Pool. Moreover, through the Star Core, we can monitor the energy particle fluctuations throughout Fallen Star City and establish one-way communication with anyone inside the city."
Sunan’s eyes lit up slightly. The energy supply function aside, the latter two functions intrigued him.
"Is the effect limited only to Fallen Star City?"
"Unless a larger Star Core can be created, the current effective range, one Fallen Star City, is already the limit."
She paused and then added:
"However, if it’s just the communication function, the range can be expanded by increasing energy consumption, but it won’t last long."
Sunan understood, "You communicated with Aida through the Star Core?"
"That’s correct." Lize admitted frankly.
Undoubtedly, the Star Core was a valuable asset.
Without hesitation, Sunan took the Star Core and placed it into the magic cube.
After losing the energy supply, the hidden energy fluctuations within the walls, ceiling, and floor quickly disappeared, and the entire tower soon plunged into silence.
"Are there any other resources in Fallen Star City?"
Lize shook her head, saying, "No, Fallen Star City had just been built when an internal conflict erupted within the Starfall Association, leaving no time to input supplies. Apart from the Star Core and the Master-Touch Puppet, the most valuable thing is the city itself."
Sunan felt a bit disappointed.
But in a second thought, the Star Core, the Master-Touch Puppet, and the vast amount of white jade stones alone were quite a harvest.
Moreover, there was Lize, the Wizard Ghost with a wealth of knowledge.
This expedition was indeed a fruitful one.
Since there were no more valuable items, Sunan decided not to linger and turned to leave with the tome in hand.
Returning to the entrance, Lize turned to look at the quiet Fallen Star City with a complex expression.
"What do you plan to do with Fallen Star City?"
Sunan said immediately, "Take it back and dismantle it for materials."
Take it back?
Lize was stunned, doubting if she had heard wrong.
"You plan to use the teleportation function of Fallen Star City? But you’ve already removed the Star Core, even if reinstalled, the Star Core doesn’t have enough energy for the teleportation function."
"No need for such trouble."
Sunan placed his hand on the wall made of white jade stones, and with a thought, the massive Fallen Star City and the downward-pointing black spire mechanism below it vanished instantly.
This scene left Lize utterly dumbfounded, her eyes wide open.
"How did you do that?" Lize looked at Sunan in shock.
Even as a well-informed Wizard, she had never seen such a bizarre scene.
A Space Ring?
Impossible, there’s no Space Ring in the world with an internal space large enough to accommodate Fallen Star City!
A Semi-Dimensional Plane?
Even more impossible, it requires at least a True Spirit Wizard to develop a Semi-Dimensional Plane!
But if it wasn’t either of those, how did Sunan instantaneously store the entire Fallen Star City?
"It’s a secret."
Sunan had no intention of explaining and turned to leave.
No matter how large, Fallen Star City occupied only one unit in the magic cube.
The magic cube does not have the spatial size concept of magical spatial items, it only has a numerical concept.
Once out of the dimensional space where Fallen Star City was, the surrounding seawater immediately rushed in, only to be blocked by the energy shield Sunan expanded.
Lize came to her senses, seeing Sunan unwilling to say more, she did not press the matter and returned to the tome.
Every wizard has their own secrets, and probing too deep is not advisable.
...
After emerging from the sea, Sunan casually instructed Andrea and then returned directly to the Dragon Forest.
With Fallen Star City in hand, he no longer had to concern himself with matters in the Rainbow Sea.
The Siren Sea Demon had already submitted to the Star Alliance, leaving only the Deep Sea Naga in the Rainbow Sea. A single Deep Sea Naga couldn’t possibly be a match for the Star Alliance.
The Star Alliance would face little opposition in developing the Rainbow Sea.
The rest can be left to others to handle.
Next, it was time to focus on training and constructing the Wizard Tower.
Back in the Dragon Forest, Sunan took out the tome and released Lize.
"This is... the Eco-Park!"
Looking at the vast, dense forest in the distance, a hint of surprise appeared in Lize’s eyes.
She then glanced at the towering white tower formed by coiled dragon bones nearby, instinctively blurting out:
"The Dragon Remains Tower!"
"This is the Dragon Forest!"
Sunan raised an eyebrow and asked, "Do you recognize this place?"
Lize nodded and said, "I happen to know the master of the Dragon Forest. He was a powerful Level 2 Wizard. Before I became what I am now, I heard he seemed to have joined an expedition against a certain plane, but unexpectedly..."
At this, Lize sighed inwardly.
Since Dragon Forest is now under Sunan’s control, it indicates that its original master has perished.
Only then would the ownerless Eco-Park initiate the inheritance procedure.
Thinking that over a thousand years had passed, and that wizards she knew had turned to dust, Lize couldn’t help but feel a sense of loss.
But soon, she couldn’t afford to dwell on such sentiments.
Upon seeing the majestic giant tower standing in the vast woodland, Lize was completely stunned, unable to maintain her previously indifferent expression, replaced by intense shock and disbelief.
