Chapter 666 - 569: Opening the Gate of Space
Chapter 666 - 569: Opening the Gate of Space
The Evil World is located 30,000 light years to the northwest of the Law Cosmos, where evil is the unchanging law. Here, all morality and goodness are naturally rejected. A virtuous cultivator will become corrupt upon entering, while wicked individuals will gain power. This is a world where good people cannot survive.
On the way, the protagonist’s weapon forbade him from speaking about the specifics of the Evil World, informing him that there are actually ten Evil Worlds in the cosmos.
"Master, you just said you’re not very familiar with this world, so why do you now seem to know it inside out?"
"It’s simple. This scroll came from one of my clones. It contains detailed introductions on the ten Evil Worlds! By the way, do you want to change your name?"
"You don’t like me being called Ban?"
"It’s too direct. When we face Zhao Yi in the future, he’ll immediately know your ability. How about changing it to Forward?"
"I refuse! That name is so cheesy. If others find out, they’ll make fun of me."
Ban almost cried, and the protagonist came up with over a dozen names, but neither was satisfied.
"Forget it. Let’s keep calling you Ban for now, until we think of something better!"
A flash of light, and the protagonist and Ban appeared in the sky above the Evil World.
Before the two had time to take in their surroundings, a beam of blue light, as sharp as a sword, shot directly at the protagonist. The Gate of Space opened and swallowed the attack whole. The protagonist remained still, quietly waiting.
A minute later, the protagonist was surrounded by hundreds of evil cultivators. Their appearances were bizarre—some extremely terrifying, others hideously ugly, some looked suave but had depraved eyes, while others simply exuded an evil aura, making them fearsome.
"Yuck.."
The protagonist couldn’t stand these ugly figures and vomited.
"I say, why can’t you guys look a bit better? We’re all cultivators, just use a bit of magic with a snap of your fingers!"
"Who the hell are you to make remarks here! There are tens of thousands of cultivators here, and no one is king! Remember that!"
A young cultivator, realizing the protagonist was about the same age, assumed he had wandered in accidentally and started to show off.
"Slap!"
The young cultivator’s fantasies were shattered with a single slap from the protagonist. Before he could react, Ban appeared before him, and with a flash of cold light, took off his head.
"That kid’s no good! Kill him!"
One person shouted loudly, rallying others’ fighting spirit. They instantly surrounded the protagonist, intending to gang up on him. The protagonist smirked coldly, as it was exactly what he needed!
As soon as the group reached the protagonist, the Gate of Space suddenly appeared, and before they knew it, they were swallowed by the gate.
"He controls the Third Space Law! Avoid it quickly!" A well-informed cultivator quickly realized the situation was grim. For them, bullying the innocent was second nature, but they were also cowards. Taking advantage of the chaos, some yelled and incited mindless attacks while they retreated to escape!
Lights flashed, weapons flew, and various magical treasures were unleashed together.
"Boom!"
Centered around the protagonist, a massive explosion set off flames. Many wailed as they fell from the sky. Yet, the protagonist didn’t let up on the weaker foes, relocating them all into his New World using the Gate of Space.
Slaughter!
The protagonist seemed to rediscover his former invincible self, a feeling lost ever since Zhao Yi’s appearance. Now it had returned!
The protagonist roared with anger, wielding his weapon and continually reaping evil cultivators.
In no time, with cold glints, murderous aura, continuous screams, and flying flesh everywhere.
Finally, the evil cultivators’ will to fight collapsed, and they began to scatter and flee!
"Ha!"
The protagonist clasped his hands together, activating the Space Law. Four great doors appeared mid-air, devouring the majority of the cultivators.
The increase in power allowed the protagonist to wield the Space Law with consummate mastery, filling him with satisfaction.
Finally, the world was at peace!
"Master, you’re formidable! What’s the next step?"
"To make these guys follow me, I must crush them with absolute power. Relying on the Space Law alone isn’t enough! Find the strongest one and duel them!"
Confident and composed, the protagonist seized a cultivator to ask about the largest gathering place, but the opponent was especially defiant.
"Kid, if you have the guts, kill me! I will never·· Ah!"
Before the defiant cultivator’s words were finished, Ban severed his arm, causing him to scream in agony. He defiantly glared at Ban, only to have his other arm chopped off too.
"Impressive courage." The protagonist praised the brave cultivator and continued questioning others until someone finally spoke.
"It’s in the south of the world, where the king of this world, the Southern Heavenly Lord, resides!"
The Southern Heavenly Lord, one of the strongest great cultivators in the Evil World, was now dressed in a yellow robe, looking at the protagonist and Ban like an emperor.
That calm demeanor made the Southern Heavenly Lord realize the intruders meant trouble, yet his condescending expression was indeed annoying.
"I heard you captured many of our people?"
"I heard the Evil World consists of selfish scoundrels, each looking out for themselves. Your question seems inconsistent with the rumors."
"As one of the representatives of the Evil Law Realm, naturally, I must protect this world. Kid, what are you here for?"
"Hmph! You’re not worthy of asking! You need only do one thing!"
"Kneel!" Ban shouted loudly, startling the protagonist beside him.
"Don’t be so jumpy in the future, we are cultured people! Unlike these brutes!"
While the protagonist was adjusting his clothes, the Southern Heavenly Lord launched a sneak attack, unaware that both the protagonist and Ban were already prepared. Intent on submitting the opponent with sheer power, the protagonist refrained from using the Space Law, opting instead to dodge and counterattack.
The failed attempt caused a jolt in the Southern Heavenly Lord’s heart!
"Ha!"
His fingers restored, flashing starlight made it difficult for the protagonist to keep his eyes open!
"Boom!"
The Southern Heavenly Lord used the light to obscure the protagonist, simultaneously flashing to attack from behind, only to be blocked by Ban!
A peerless weapon and the law’s representative collided, the powerful aftermath tossing the Southern Heavenly Lord’s henchmen about mid-air, and the distant peaks bore the brunt, sending rocks flying.
The Southern Heavenly Lord waved his arm, causing the stones in mid-air to suddenly stop rotating, then orbit around him.
These stones spun rapidly, gradually forming wind blades that ripped through the air with sharp, piercing sounds.
"You’re strong! Mightier than I’ve ever faced! But before going all out, I want to know if your name is Zhao Yi!"
"Jesus!"
Hearing the compliment, the protagonist was delighted, only for his mood to sour when mistaken for Zhao Yi. The protagonist suddenly felt hopeless.
Damn Zhao Yi, even more famous than me!
